The electrode welded by the electric bit is placed in a fixed copper crystallizer. The remelting of the consumed electrode is realized from the "liquid starting point" using the TⅢ3000-1 transformer with strict power supply volt-ampere characteristics (that is, the gap between the electrode end and the bottom of the mold is filled with the previously prepared molten flux with a determined composition)
The height of the crystallizer is 1000mm, and the inner cavity diameter is 200mm. There is a gap of 15-20mm between the lower end of the electrode and the bottom of the mold.
The remelting regulations of electric bit are as follows: current intensity 1=2800~3000A, voltage U=40V, remelting time -75min.
